About Us — Our Story

Midwife Empowerment Initiative was founded with a mission to support traditional and community birth attendants who have cared for mothers for generations using local knowledge and community trust. While many of these caregivers have years of experience, access to formal maternal healthcare training has often been limited.

We work to bridge this gap by providing modern maternal health education, safe delivery training, and practical skills that help improve the quality of care provided to mothers and newborns.

Through community outreach, advocacy, and partnerships, we empower midwives and birth attendants with the knowledge and support they need to promote safer pregnancies, safer deliveries, and healthier families.
